Just picked up an 01 YZ125 off of someone on shift here. I was wondering what other people ran for mix oil, I’m new to the 2stroke thing. I’ve been riding thumpers my whole life so far.

yamalube is good , but the best i have used and seen maxim oils super m . benol leaves nasty ass varnish and resin smells great but no good for power valve bikes .
one of my other friends suggested Amsoil too. I looked into it and they have 2 different ones, their Dominator and Interceptor, hmmmm
maxim makes one of the best oils for the price of it . remeber super m lolol
Motul makes a very good oil and they have a few different types of 2 stroke oil depending on the bike your using.

FUCK KLOTZ AND DEF. FUCK ANY BENOL !!!1 Worst shit in thew world for anything with a power valve or anything that is riding in colder weather … ALL BENOL seperates from fuel 38 Degree weather and colder.
Maxima superm is great. Maxima 927 is good and the k12 i think it is is even better if u have a power valve. all maxima runs extremly clean an no bullshit with sticking P/V’s.
Amsoil is great to dominator is really good but again if u have a P/V go with the interceptor. amsoil I think runs a lil dirtier (sp?) than the maxima.
But thats just my worthless .02 !!
