Sierra nevada pale ale, anything Pale Ale

Spaten Optimater.

~15% alcohol and tasty!

not the heaviest, but aviator red, sam octoberfest, and bass all do well.

I used to be into a lot more lesser known beers, but my beer selections are somewhat determined by what the bars I go to sell.

Im making my own pale ale, its my second batch its called Pale monster ale.

<3 Guiness

lol none of these are heavy beers, well minus the guiness

Rouge imperial stout
Mediveal Ape Hanger
Boddentons(sp)

guinness isnt really heavy either. its relatively low in alcohol and calories.

:word:

:word: Not really heavy, just dark and creamy. :beer2:

As for a decent “heavy” beer… Shit, I guess I don’t know what beers are high in alcohol content or calories. The Porter at Buffalo Tap Room is delicious.

Hennepin is the shit, Do you like the cellared one or the non aged? Btw their brewery is really nice ever get a chance its worth the drive.

^whatever the one off the shelf is

I also am a fan of arragant bastard ale,and Dirty dicks

Guinness isn’t even close to heavy, final gravity is like 1.011 (water is 1.000 at 60 deg f, bud lite, Labatts lite et al… is 0.998 or so, Pale ales usually come in around 1.008 or so.) Guinness gives you a heavy mouth feel becaue it’s pushed with a nitrogen mix, not just co2.

Heavy beers I like is pretty much any Imperial Stout, and big Big Foot, Old Crustacean, Brookly Brewery’s Chocolate stout to name a few. I usually go to Premier or Consumers, but ANgotti’s in Batavia used to have a nice selection that neither of themhad, havn’t been there in a while though.

Sam’s Triple Bock…

killians irish red

Hop Devil by Victory Brewing Company is one of my recent faves. As you can guess, it is a very hoppy beer. Delicious.

steel reserve hahaha jk

racer 5, and reaper ale

flying bison stout MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

i think i’m gonna grab some growlers tomorrow… right from the brewery
