wheel offset calculator

i just found this, but i’m sure lots of you already know about this. i always see people asking how certain sized wheels will fit compared to their current setups, so perhaps this can help them.

There is a better one somewhere that actually shows where the fender line is as well as if it will clear
i havent been able to find it though.

This one?

DJPyro: I love that one, that’s the one I posted around on most sites… it’s more… interactive. In the end they all do the same thing.

if you want to see how it looks in real life this might help.

I like the one I posted because if you’re working with real close fitments, you can measure based off your stock rims to decide if you need a pull, spacers, different offset, whatever.

thanks for the links guys. i think the link with all the car pics is good, except some cars’ measurements compared to the actual appearance seems to be off. i don’t know if its just me.

good site

The problem with that fitment picture site is that they don’t take into account the camber they’re running, height they are running and how much they’ve pulled… Pulling fenders will give deceiving results heh… also different coilovers potentially can have different inner clearance (different spring OD). It’s best to do measurments on your car and then use a calc or something.

that second calculator is pretty sick, but this dude is right.

I m running 17 x 9.5 +15, and from that i can just measure my clearances and see if i can run a bigger tire or whatever.

Once you have test fitted one set of rims, its not to difficult to draw diagram and make measurements and find out how much wider with a rim or offset or tire you can run.

ya i see what your trying to say, but if you just want a general pic of how it might look its not half bad.
