depends on the price of the gas.
in theory, if gas price remained constant, the less gas in the tank the better the fuel economy due to the vehicle being less laden with weight… but due to many variables (gas price, temperature at different times of the day, how much shit is in your car, etc…) it really shouldn’t matter.
i think these are idiotic questions from an idiotic person.
i’ll agree with you on that.
i know… who fucking cares

i fill up after the light comes on. cause i actually have until it blinks when i really need to get gas. i like to see how close to 12 gallons i can get.
oh yeah i have put 16.7 gallons in my firebird at one time. but it wouldnt idle above 300 rpms pulling into the gas station.
i wait till “E” in my car, but thats a long time since i’ve probably put 400 miles on my car this year…on my bike i fill soon after the light comes on which means i usually have 30 miles left or more
i get 300 miles to fill up, so i put gas in at 300 miles. i run the bitch to the point of “oh shit, will i make it to the station” dry. then i cheat and keep filling after the pump stops, pull out as bit, and resume fillling until the overflow line is filled too.

i always run mine low and the fuel pump has never gone. Maybe the fact that you had a cutlass ciera had something to do with it.
that’s what i’m saying!
