Fiber optic lines that go right to your hizouse. You can get tv and broadband through it.
I can’t imagine anything verizon does that doesn’t totally suck. by far one of the worst companies i have ever dealth with.
verizon wireless>* thats well known but as far as dsl and home phones they suck.

I used to sub contract for TW in rochester and we installed one of the first Fiber optic lines to a residence and I think that guy was payiing $1200 a month. He was running multiple servers out of his house on an 8 pair of fiber. This shit should replace all copper wire on the Telephone polls and anything else in the ground as far as communications are concerned. You can send so much information on it its sick.
My roommates sister lives down in Hamburg and she just got the FIOS. It’s pretty sad because the girl can barely turn on a computer. She has no idea of the potential of this. I’m debating dropping off a computer and leaving it hooked up in the corner and just telling her, “don’t touch that.” So I can run game servers/ftp/whatever off of it.
