been looking and only few i found was some with super mount of mods going for 9g and such…

what happened to good old $4000 for rhd s13 s go???

I have a 91 silvia thats perfect with 50k on it…

Probaby lacking popularity because lots of people think the S13 JDM front end is ugly and paying to import or trying to register/insure RHD is a pain in the ass compared to buying a 240sx.

good s13’s are worth way more than $4k so that’s why they cost more than that?

i know its pain in the ass to reg/ins the rhd… thats why i asked my broker how would it be if i convert it to LHD with jdm vin…
my broker said no…

so what i was gonna do is buy a jdm clean ass chassis swap a vin from rusty 240 and do a conversion… thats why im looking for a stock cheap s13… but oh well…

and bing imo stock jdm s13 shouldn’t worth more then 4g dogg… most of them on kijiji is super moded… unless i buy my old whore back… which is going for 2800 bucks… but… i know what i did to it… so i really dont wanna buy it lol

Yeah some say u can make it a classic car by putting it on top if u r daily driver… But my broker told me I cant.
Vin swap is scatchy but it’s totally legal since I have the ownership for a both of the vehicle

There are no S13s because half of them rotted out before anyone cared about them, and the other half got trashed by punk ass drifter kids. The ones that are left are thereby worth a mint. Thank god. Hopefully there’ll be a few left on the planet without horribly pulled fenders and bashed to shit quarter panels.

why would it be soo illegal when i have the ownership from 2 cars ill be using… its them the evil insurance company who thinks converting RHD to LHD is a Major modification and put us thru this headache anyway

This doesn’t make sense to me, why go to the bother of finding a rhd s13 when you can have a left hand one in a left hand driving country?

LHD s13’s s14’s are overpriced buckets with very few minty ones owned by dead grannies. RHD are usually clean and have working low KM SR’s in them.

RHD 180sx is getting impossible to insure in Ontario and even if you get lucky they have right to cancel your policy anytime without reason.
That’s exactly what happened to me and I’m mature, experienced driver with perfect record, no glasses or any medical condition.
One beautifull day I’ve received a letter that my Insurance company will no more cover my RHD and that’s it.
They can change what kind of vehicles they insure any time, you’ll get two week notice that’s it.

You dont need to swap the vin to do a JDM front end conversion and steering wheel from left side to right. Also yes, swapping vin isn’t technically illegal but you’d need a MOT inspector to cross reference all the numbers to make sure it isn’t full of stolen sht before registering it unless you wanna risk felony charges.

Agreed, I’ve been hearing alot of people who put their vehicle in storage for the winter, try to reinstate their previous coverage and were denied. So sad Ontario cant be cool like BC. :frowning:

firewall swap to do jdm conversion? is something i would think of if i smoked a fat rock.
Lhd swap with JDM short vin = major modification (said by insurance broker) its worst then building a 4 rotor rx7 with 500hp and try insuring it.
LHD swap with Canadian long vin = good to go :smiley:
