Are you advocating trying to select against bad luck in breeding dogs and cats? Critters don’t get much say in whether or not their adopted by morons. And some fool inadvertantly poisoning his pet won’t earn him a darwin award.

so most of us follow rules about disposing of oil, but since there is seeming no clear cut way to dispose of coolant nobody seems to have a clue. I dump it in the sewer on a gravel lot personally

We do have a solution. Call oil change places until you find one which will take it. It took me three tries.

Easy solution. Take it and drop it off at an oil change place after hours. Just make sure they don’t use outdoor cameras. lol Then they have no choice but to take care of it.
