Yea I think 12’s is pushing it in the M5 although I really have not looked into what they typically run. I have seen most people go low 13’s around 106-108. I figure intake, cat-back and tune on dr’s or the azenis I have should be able to squeeze a 12.99 I hope. I will prob make some passes in the next few weeks…then I will buy a fast car and stop beating on my dd.
I’d like to just bring something to the strip this year, I have something I could but its not much.
86 Monte Carlo SS, Its got the stock motor in it with headers and true duals, but I have a couple small blocks to choose from, so one of them might find their way into the car, probably 13.99.

Exige should do mid 12s stock, maybe high 12s… But “standing starts” apparently can void my warranty.

13.1 was my best last year. ill probably do some more tuning, retard my cam a few deg’s so i can rev past 5500 and still make power and add a little more boost. shouldnt have too much trouble getting into the 12’s. that is if i fix the bad bearing in my trans.

I’ll keep it in the low 12’s with the TBSS. I managed an 11.959 last year on an absolutely perfect run with cool ambient air, whacking it with the spray at just the right time, etc., but that’s hardly reproducible on a consistent basis.

Low 13’s or high 12’s…I am optimistic so I voted for the latter.
But to be honest, I am more concerned with setting my car up for a few track days. Might take it to NYIRP just for shits and giggles.

it’s amazing how not spinning the tires at all, an auto trans, a 150 shot, and some misc. goodies can overcome weighing 5000 LBS
I’m only going to run a 100 shot this year though, that’s what I’m tuned for and I’d like to not accidentally a transmission or motor for as long as possible.
