I just recently bought my Si in April and transferred the registration from my Golf… the registration is up for renewal in June, but the paperwork I got from DMV just a few days ago still has the information for the Golf on it. I know there’s gotta be a way to renew/update all at once? But shouldn’t they already have the information for the Si? Concerns me a bit is all, wondering if the dealer sent in the right paperwork or not… since I still haven’t gotten the new registration and title in the mail yet either.

Hmm. I would call the dealer and see what’s up. Don’t renew until you get the new reg or it will mess things up. The dealer still has the paperwork I’m assuming? If so they are the only people who can get the civic registered because you need the previous owners titke and everything. Basically get on the dealers ass and don’t renew the golf.
Sounds good to me… I think they might have been delayed/ran into an issue because the bank initially didn’t release the title from the Golf to them until just last week. I’ll check in with the dealer and make sure everything is good.
How long does it take to get a new title when the old title was from pa? I’ve tried calling the title bureau every day and no one answers,it’s either busy or it just disconnects
I’m guessing that’s what screwed it up… if the bank took forever getting the title to the dealer, they probably couldn’t file what they need with DMV right away, so I just ended up getting the standard reminder about my registration.
