the magnaflo’s i have now are to loud. i want to get a set of flowmasters. I want that “classic flomaster sound” but not to loud. will 40’s be ok or should i get 50’s or something else. Something around the sound level of a dynomax super turbo would be good.

what ever u want go delta flow just a lil quieter but not a whole lot !! id look into a diff mufler if u want something quiet

No those magnaflos are crappy sounding, those ones he has, i tried on the rustang and i didnt likem either.

they sound decent at idle and during quick stabs of the pedal. but when on it under a load it sounds like a mexican rolling his r’s like r r r r r r r r r r r rico it did’nt make that noise till i put the rest of the exhaust on with the turndowns. why not the 50 series? they are just a 40series with the third chamber right?

3 chamber are quit, for $60+ your better off with the SUper turbos for $20

the dynomax super turbos i used to have were’nt that load. so i’m looking for a flowmaster that is about the same loudness but will sound better.
well 30 series are loud. now delta flow just helps out interior noise. i got american thunder 50s on the 5.0 and shit got some sound to it. now todd has a 30 on his truck and its louder then my force II muffler. rock the 50s if you can. i got a delta 40 on the cavi and that was 90 bucks. delta = more money

it will be quieter, not the same sound
if you look on a flowmaster box they will list the levels of sound. they all have the same sound but just different loudness. my truck is quiet but when you get on it you can hear a nice sound.
what wrong with the super turbos u have on thier?
