Im looking to replace my acura’s battery. im going to have a single sub, amp, and i also have a hard drive based navigation/multimedia unit, AND an lcd alarm that sucks the juice. i was looking at the batcap 2000 but havnt found alot of reviews. this is my only battery, and has to be located in the front of the car (possibly in rear but i would like to keep it in front)
How about red top or yellow top?
I’d have to agree with Vlad, and if you need a cap I have a 1 farad cap for $70 OBO. PM me if interested.
Precision Mobile Audio sell a really good battery (forgot the name but its blue) its made for fast discharge (sort of like a cap).
And of course you can buy a capacitor for your audio (it will stop your lights from dimming) You can have my 1.5Farad cap for $30 if you want, and I’ll throw in some 4ga power and ground wires for ya.
You can see the cap in the pic!

By far the best battery on the market right now is from voltphreaks, super light weight and great performance. Get the smallest one that works for your application, they are expensive, but last at least 10 years as long as you don’t abuse them(a big stereo is not abuse, running them until completely dead is abuse.)

4.5#'s??? Jesus christ on a bicycle!!! I should get one of thoes to shave some weight off the nose of the civic.
Unless your going to be running a system in the car, you can get away with the lighter(and cheaper) one. Due to the nature of my future car, I’ve been looking at any and all means of shaving weight, this is pound/dollar the best way to shave weight on that car. Besides, its just bad ass!
depends on how much money u wana spend. if u want moderate, use a yellowtop or a red top. if u got some more then get an odyssey or a kinetik(thats the blue one at precision)
The battery that I was talking about is the Kinetik one. I’ve seen the kinetik in person (I installed it into my friends car, they have a couple of different sizes, and we used a smaller one because it was an additional battery for the trunk). It worked very nice and lights didn’t dim at all. The car had 12" Treo Sub, 1000Watt RMS JBL AMP, 4ch MbQuart AMP, it held up very nice. We installed a volt meter and with car running it would never get lower then 11.8V with bass blasting (before he got the Kinetik the voltage would dip to 9-10V on hard hits).
Dennis’ camry?
