Which is better(looking for experience)

Get a clean S13. The coupe is ‘stronger’ and lighter per say and that is due to the hatch which can be easily resolved (lexan/frp + cage or if no cage c pillar bar/crossbar/strut bar).

S13s are lighter for sure… suspension wise… many s14s dont come with a rear swaybar stock… the rear subframe is better… the lcas are a bit different. You can swap both s14 LCAs/spindle front and s14 subframe and u get the same shiznit. I still rock an s13 subframe.

My car came out to be 2483lbs on a scale with more than half a tank. I still have another 100lbs I see I can lose. 30lbs~ on headlights, 20lbs~ on carpet/sound deadening which I still have (not on firewall though), hood about a good 20-30lbs, the rear bondo crap which ill cut out probably like 10lbs lol… plus the frp parts I have say 30lbs all around, then the power steering crap and new manual rack ill be putting in remove another 20-30lbs, KA is a good 100lbs heavier. My battery is only like 15lbs but I can move it to the back. Then you can get in more expensive stuff like lexan all around, doors, apparently stock to frp doors you save 60lbs (metal doors vs frp doors alone) but I’d advise this only to someone with side impact bars with a cage.

It goes on and on. You can cut out alot of crap. A good cage will be 60-100lbs added back on though.

Also sex-appeal, well s13s hatches are the sexiest… and the s13 hatch flows much like an s15 and an s15 front end can look very nice indeed. I am sticking with the popup look for now (getting rid of popups anyways so I get the weight savings benefit)

oh ya if u want a sick deal, if you decide to go with an s14… i think s13junkyard was selling his s14 race car shell with a cage. Was it not sasha’s old car or something but painted white or at least looked white cause of all the frp panels? I’ve seen it in person and it was really nice imo.

OK so who wants to trade an s13 for an s14 then,come on then .I want to see what I can get.For pics I have no idea how to up load so we’d have to do e-mail.
Oh ya still want a coupe though,I personaly prefer it’s body lines.
Want something solid though, will a minimum amount of work.
Thanks for the input guys,but s14s’ are sexy as well though there’s a reason why I bought one, and it does handle very well.But then again I’ve never abused an s13 properly either,so I can’t really compare yet!!.

What’s s13 junkyards car have left on it though,always looking for another 240,if it was up to me I’d own one for every day of the week!!

having owned both, the S14 feels better planted and more suited to grip than the S13

the S13 felt flickable at any moment (to me) and also easy to drive, but the chassis itself felt more willing to drift…

I’ll trade you an S13 Coupe, with an SR, Tomei 2 Way, Gab Coils, 5 Lug with JDM S14 front and rear with oversize rears, Tein Inner and Outer Tie Rods with Tein TC Rods, etc…

I want both of yours! hahhahhah.

The first one looks a little odd, just cause the doors are too far sunken in with the other body panels. But it still looks fucking awesome!

Gentlemen any S chassis is sexy lets be honest here,unless it’s been riced out to the MAX!!

lol…it’s all preference, but I prefer the .4 front over the .5 – I think the S15 front end only suits the S15. I’d drive an s-chassis with any combination of front or rear ends.
