well that was 3 years ago haha, i made a huge purchase from them so i was like what the hey, i picked a few misc things too all in one. It was a nice big package.
Couldnt find BKR7E but found BKR7ES-11. Can i use these? Any difference? Instant death?
found this one zilvia, can anybody veryify?
“The 11 means it has a 1.1mm or .044” gap, that is the main difference in those plugs. If you’re putting this on SR20DET then the gap is too big, stock gap is .032", also from what I have read and engine builder’s I have talked to all say that you should run an iridium or platinum plug on a coil pack setup."
Or should i just return them and find the bkr7e?
The regular BKR7E’s are copper I believe, they’re good but can’t beat an iridium plug in terms of performance and longevity…
since Iridium runs hotter than copper, it’s good to go 1 - 2 steps colder than the copper plug so BKR7E’s = BKR8E’s (in Iridium V-Power)
this is the perfect answer to this question…people always think bigger, more expensive lighter etc is always better when the answers an solutions are all around them or given to them.
