Need help on a descent set of tires for theeclipse; inspection is up this month and i have poor man slicks on it
i am looking for a good grip tire but something with good tread wear as well; i plan on a set of drag radials for the track on my stock rims. anything in a 235/40/18 will do
i live and die by falkens… I really like the new ones they just came out with. I have them on my 240 now. Falken Beta Fk451’s… hook up and handle nice. Also low buck…
just got the azenas really like them… super stiff side wall took a little bit to get used too switch from a nitto nt450 stiffer side wall = faster turning car felt loose untill i got used to it
I’ve never bought any of their more sports oriented tires, but I’ve never been happier with an H-rated tire than I was with A550Hs and Avid H4s. I have “comparable” Sumitomos on the Prizm now and they fucking blow compared to Yokohamas.
Falken Azenis Sports are best. I just got Dunlop SP Sport FM901’s and they have been my favorite tire so far. They even have decent rain handling. I used to have Sumitomo HTR+ but they didnt grip well and suck in rain. They came with a 40k mile warranty so that was a good thing. My first tire was the BFG’s and they sucked at everything. I will never buy BFgoodshit again.
