Falken Azenis

Anyone ever buy a set of these tires? They look pretty sticky and for a decent price they seem pretty legit.

good tires  that’s what I’m running on my car right now

lots of people run them

great tire for the money

hankook ventus rs2 or w/e the name for them is are also great tires.

I had them for a summer when I used to Auto-x. I loved them, especially when I’d drive hard. They never failed me.

They do wear extremely fast though.

I’d still recommend them.

That’s what I’m rocking on my 9-2x right now, and they are the shit

1 of the best tires for the money, imo.

Had them on my Fiero for autocrossing/track day/limited street use and loved them.

+1 on the fast wear but what do you expect for a 200 treadwear tire?

I have them on my corvette which is my weekend worrier. Love them.

I currently run a 285 front and a 295 rear, but I just changed my set up to a 275 star spec front 335 555r2 rear. I might try to run a 315 in the front just for shits.

Thats all I ever ran on my WRX and Evo. Great Tire. Actually just switched to dunlop direzza sport z1 star spec’s… Even better tire IMO.

I have an extra set of 275/35/18 star specs for sale %50 if anyone is interested. :stuck_out_tongue:

Awesome tire, I have them on the TT. They are pretty soft/sticky so the treadwear is pretty shitty if you beat on them.

thats what i got on the back of the roush. got a little greasy at a track day but ill easily get 2 summers out of them at the least

I like them a lot. On my second set right now.

ic ic, ya im think for right now putting them in the back of my car untill i can afford drag radials

They’re a pretty good tire…but in the past couple years even better tires in the same category have come out. I just replaced my last set of Azenis with Dunlop Star Specs and love these new ones. They don’t get as greasy on track(road course, not boring strip :stuck_out_tongue: ) as the Azenis will…and for only a few $$ more a tire (In my size at least).
Bridgestone RE-11s and Kumho Ecsta XSs are also in this Extreme Summer Performance group. These are all better than the Azenis in the wet too.

+1 on the Kumho XS

I was an azenis fanboy until the XS came out.
