I fired up the boiler last night just to make sure the water pump and relief valve were working properly. I would hate to change it out in the dead of winter with no heat in the house. Going to be a nice toasty winter…

This am lit the furnace. If it was just me it would prob never be on. But the fiancé is cold at 70* but never gets turned up past 67* or I get to hot.
pshhhh I hate threads like this. My AC and furnace fought it out non stop last month so this month should be a reprieve as just the furnace is kicking. I cant wait to have a 4K sqft house… my tune is sure to change!!

Shits been on for weeks over here. I was just in Haiti last week and it was 102, get back here and its 65 and im freezing. ~70-72 all year round. Fuck bills.
I’m fine with the heat at 67/68 if I was cold I would turn it up. Not worried about the amount of money it costs. Just why waste it if 68 is warm enough.

I’m currently in a contest with 3 other friends, to see who can hold out the longest without turning on their heat…the only thing that can fuck this up for me is if my wife wants it turned on when she is in town…and if that happens…

Of course it’s on. When the house gets cool I turn on the heat while laughing at the cheap fuckers who would rather be uncomfortable than spend a couple bucks on heat. Not like it costs a lot this time of year when your furnace only has to run for a few minutes at a time to make the house comfortable.
The one that makes me cringe is when it’s 5 below and windy and my damn furnace is kicking on every 5 minutes. I can just see the dollar signs flowing by then.

couple bucks for comfort is worth it.
