I have had mine set to 68 (i need to replace the programmable I have now, since it doesn’t have a weekend option, Thinking about being trendy/nerdy and getting a Nest.) It has kicked on a few times but thus far not much. Had to use the fireplace downstairs one night it was kind of chilly. My wife has used the fireplace in the bedroom a few times too (no steam radiator in master room).
