Who has turned on their heat?

When the house gets cool I turn the heat on. Hasn’t reached the point that I kick the thermostat over to program mode and just forget about it yet though.

Hasn’t been too bad during the day… When I fire up my TV/Computer, this typically takes the chill out of the air.

Last night I made stuffed peppers. At 450 for 45 minutes, I had no problems keeping the appt warm last night.

It’s hilarious that this thread re-appears like clockwork every year and the responses could almost be copy/pasted from the previous year’s.

I’m in North Carolina and turned my heat on a couple of days ago. Shit hit 66°. F THAT

wait, heat for what?

Natural gas market pricing is down, you dudes might as well crank it up and be comfortable.

The electricity on the other hand, that’s what you need to keep an eye on.

:fu:

suck it

god damned electric hot water heater costs me a fortune these days, and my wife insists on taking scathing hot baths every night

For when you visit soon…

I saw a propane bill hanging on my door as I drove away this morning. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

With touchless flush, yes

last week for me…

My heats been on for a month already. I keep it at 72 as well but I prance around with light clothing.

Got down to 58 one morning, been on and off ever since.

We had it up to 68 the other day and I felt like I was going to melt. My parents keep theirs at like 72

I looked at my propane bill when I arrived home form work. The first bill of the season was only $362, not bad.(I never thought I would say not bad at $300+)

How long does that last?

Into December but, with temps like last Jan and Feb it would only be a month at most. I paid about $1100 last Feb because of cold and pricing.

^ $1100 just in February? I knew propane was expensive but damn.

NYSpeed poverty thread…

I saved $25 this month by being uncomfortable any time I was home. I can now put that toward my Honda build.
