my house was at 58. I had to kick it on. I didnt want the kid to get sick. I usually kick it on at like 8 pm, cut it off at 11 or 12 and then im good all nite

Not yet- just turned off the window AC. I dread the winter. I live in the back room of the Ritz, formally occupied by Walker and EvilJay. Winds blowing across a huge open space, against a rattly ancient double window. On a windy day, I’ll wake up freezing under 3 layers of covers, wearing socks, full PJs, and I’ve even worn sweaters to bed. The heat is cranked, and the vents are closed in every other room. My window plastic blew out the first day, and I gave up fixing it. I caulked every seam in the window, fuck the landlord, but it’s still freezing. Anyone want to come throw bricks through the windows while I’m gone somewhere with an alibi? Maybe then it would get replaced. I’d offer the money I would be spending on wool sweaters and long underwear.:wink:

lol I’ve had my AC on during the night up until like 2 days ago… now I get away with the window open and sleeping is manageable.

but heat is included in my apt so it doesn’t matter.
