Who is doing what to their cars?

who knows or cares… im building it to drive. Will look into class later. i know it aint going to win at any national events, so im more worried about just running good numbers and hooking it on the street. Figuring i want to setup nitrous, that would put me as 2 power adders w/ the turbo. If they count nitrous on the intercooler as a power adder, then i would have 3 total. so will have to see how the car runs off the spray, then see how it takes to using it to spool, then use it to spray on top of 3rd and 4th w/ no spool use… So many different ways i can use just teh wet kit, i dont know how i will end up using it. The intercooler sprayer is deffinitely gettign hooked up though. So, there is to many variables i need to look at, 1st thing is get the damn thing done w/ the turbo and go from there.

Well, I just dropped it 2 inches, put on the Magnaflow Exhaust, and The short-throw shifter. My Rims/Tires and lip kit should be here wednesday, and I have to get a few other things, and then I’ll be done for this year. Next year is a whole other arena though

doesn’t matter where nitrous is plumbed too it is a power adder. so to make weight you will need about 2600lbs and 600whp to compete, but if you run the aluminum doors, custom dash and cluster you will be in pro classes and be screwed…just something to think about

2.4 bottom end swap, 8 injector setup (stock primary and 660 for the the secondaries), T3/T4 60-1, FMIC, swap to Aeromotive 1:1 FPR, custom SS tubular exhaust manifold, 3" turbo back exhaust, Turbosmart 38mm WG, Crower Stage 3 cams, upgraded springs w/titanium retainers, and a few other goodies…

I’d like to say, but I’m torn between two options

Whipple with some fuel upgrades

or keep ported eaton, do some fuel upgrades and throw on a 100 shot.

but looks like a live axle maybe a go ahead to, very soon.

i figure my car weighs probably 2400lbs, + or - 200 lbs… i really havent taken any weight out of the car. still running stock tank, didnt cut no floors out. If anything, im adding weight-- figure 5lb bottle, 10lb iottle, extra 3 gallon gas tank, plus all the line and pump for it. No to mention the weight added by new header, turbo, and all the other shit. The weight i may have saved-- all 18lbs in the door bars, and maybe a 2 lb diffeence in the dash pad itself, and another 20lbs in the knee bar. I should be around same weight as i was last time i ran, or maybe a few lbs more. But hp deff will be more. How much hp i will have-- no clue. i dont bench race and toss out numbers. But i have an ideal in my head what my car should run. But i might make that weight allready for the extra power adder. i doubt they will stick me in pro class for my dash. if they do, they are gay. as it is a street car dash-- has all the turnsignals, headlight indicators, etc. link me to the rule book again, so i can write and ask questions.

i didn’t like stock dash. as for door cards, they are on there, but aluminium now instead of the cardboard. weight= the same, but matches the car better. if that gets me bumped to a pro class, then swap them out for those races.

yeah sailor the really only thing you did was remove the factory dash and door cards…www.nhrasportcompact.com the NDRA is linking right in NOPI’s site

i just finished reading both rule books. no where does it say ur not allowed to swap dashes. just says they must remain in place. same thing w/ other interior bits-- when needed. only thing that needs to be oem is steering rack and turn signal switches…

looking good sailor!:bigok:

yeah it is
