The Poncho has potential… a Chevy Big Block will be cheaper to build to any given HP level but I’d like to see him keep a Poncho in the Poncho. Not to mention if it already has the 455 that puts him ahead of buying a BBC to start w/.

i’ve already done coated longtube headers and a TSP catted Y-pipe. probably doing a cam and valvetrain upgrade in a couple weeks. picking up a set of 3.73s next week. then i’m gonna try for low 12’s at PRP
well, figuring the car has been repainted and cage redone, and i already finished my fiberglass dash, and made my aluminium door cards, here is what is left…
finish wiring the car. i got a 21 circuit kit, got engine acessories and dash/interior left to do…
reinstall the top cable
install new suspension. i also got anal and bought all new ploy bushings for everything. as well as all new parts. I even went as far as to buy a new rack and new control arms, also bought braided brake line and all that shit…
motor wise, i got to build an equal lenth stainless turbo header… need to port the head, install new valve springs… got a sheet mel intake, and a new intercooler. use a mustang 4.6 tb… got je slugs/pauter rods and new bearings arp everything, as well as magencore wires and some toher goodies sitting on the shelf…
then there is the build a whole new motor, which i have to take to machine shop still for machine work. then im going to build it… Plus dont forget i need to drop it in the car to finish wiring the engine bay, as im not sure where im mounting shit… then i have to tune it w/ a new efi system i have yet to use, but looks like i should handle well…
plus i gotta do some other shit im forgetting… it will be out this summer…
and thats just the basics… im also gotta run nitrous lines, seting it up as its own fuel system, but that is on the back burner for now. wanna get running first, then go back and hook up the wet kit and the intercooler sprayer…
