Who said reliable cars = more sales

I actually had something in there about toyota, overall it is the company’s (GM/Toyota) problem if it ever makes it to the market. Before the car makes it to market the supplier is responsible, I worked in Valeo Wiper systems and caught a major potential recall for a certain company but we caught it in the testing lab before any of the vehicles were sold. The Car company passed the problem on to us and then we passed it on to our supplier.

Valeo built for ford, GM, hyundai, mitsubishi but there were designs for each specific car so it could have been any car company and any design that failed.

Good, two companies I stay the fuck away from.

And to think there was talk of a little company named Porsche actually buying the giant VW company not too long ago. lol

:picard:

In his defense, “onus” is a funny looking word.

owness seemed so right though!! I “own” the problem. I didn’t take the time to look it up though. I accept the fail.

Onus sounds like the name of someone who’d own a C4 Corvette…

dont you drive a chevy?

heyoooo!!!

So the top three companies happen to have mediocre reliability  I’d still pick VW out of the three.

chevy with a toyota engine :stuck_out_tongue:

You’re getting your "A"s confused with "O"s again.

Haha, and yes…I drive a Toyota  it just so happens to have a chevy bumper =p

Hmm they did recall the Cobalt’s for power steering motors.

You owned one that you bought modded, what did you expect with if it was modded and not maintained well.

I have owned over 10 vw’s and all have been fine other than simple maintance.
Would buy another.

^I’m sorry, but who the FUCK are you, pal?

I hate VW’s, even if I had owned a stock and unmolested one. Get over it.

…Fucking VW fags and their vaginas…

his name is brad, hes an asshole

so much hate from you on vw’s lately, dont get me wrong, i would never own one newer than a 99.5 (eh, maybe a diesel) but from someone who has only owned 1 VW (as far as i know), a POS bought pre-modified (poorly, from what i can remember) mk4, with the 1.8THEFUCKINGHANDOFGOD motor has no room to rip on the entire company, and the folks who choose to drive them as hard as i have seen you hit VW’s the last couple of months. really man

I hate the VW culture more than I hate the car company, I’ll admit.

VW owners suck, just as much as people who ride fixed gear bicycles, it’s not the product it’s the consumer that buys the product.

As big a piece of karp my jetta was, it was very comfy and handled amazing in the winter, for that I give VW a thumbs up, those Germans know how to create a great handling vehicle. (BMW included as well)

Double post, sweet.

that’s a lot of hate. i’ve had 3 vw’s now, my first was a POS, and that is because once i learned the history of how neglected and beat to piss it was i wasn’t really surprised. my 2 current ones i have no problems except maintenance. i’ve had my passat for 3 years, and it now has 180k miles(ive put on about 50k of those). my other is a mk2 scirocco which is 23 years old, that i know the entire history of and i would not hesitate to drive it across the country.

just because you had 1 bad experience, and i believe you owned the infamous “Mansedan” which i have heard NOTHING but horror stories about, doesn’t mean the entire company sucks and everyone who drives one is a fag. sorry you bought one that was neglected and beat to fuck, but that could happen with any car.

and every car culture has their car fags. not just VW’s

And you can jump stuff on your bike!
