Who to go to for reviews of TV's?

Well I’m in the market again for a new living room TV. I am selling my 46" Sony to my gf’s parents.
Here’s my new requirements:
At least 52".
120hz.
LCD.
1080p.

I use cnet.com right now for reviews.
I know people are gonna say “go 240hz, it’s the best”, but almost EVERY 240hz LCD TV review I’ve seen on cNet, says the benefits of the 240hz are NOT noticeable. I’m looking for noticeable differences. I guess to some it’s more a piece of mind thing, or just to say that their TV has 240hz.

I’d also like it to be LED backlit. This supposedly helps a lot on the blacks, making them almost plasma-like quality.

Right now I have two Sony’s. 46" in the living room, 40" in the bedroom. At first I thought the 46" was going to be perfect size, but the living room could definitely use a 52" or larger TV.

Duscuss.

I’m shopping around too… might be some helpfull stuff here

Cossey…

How far are you going to be away from the TV?

I got a VIZIO LCD 52" on my wall

6-12 feet. I’m not buying the TV just for my viewing, but it also depends on which side of the couch I sit on or my guests.

Great story. Thanks for your very helpful insight.

What do you think of the Sony’s you currently have?
I’m shopping around for something $1000 or under and there was a 40" Sony Bravia for just under 900 bucks that caught my attention…

I like them a lot. I have no issues with them from almost any viewing angle.
