hey guys. well, my internship i allpied for at cannon isnt going through and my dad and a few friends suggested Derrick as an alternative. not necessarily as an internship but just as a job like a CAD technician. It might take me a few days to get back into the swing of CAD and stuff, but i have used:
Autodesk Inventor
Autodesk AutoCAD
Autodesk VIZ
3Dstudiomax
Rhinocerous
Mastercam(long time ago)
how would i go about applying there? and who will let me use them as a reference lol

Phone-call follow ups dude. Phone call follow ups. And never put all of your eggs in one basket.
Keep applying all summer to everyone who will accept your resume. Work experience while in school is a must.
:word: It’s kind of funny to think about. The spring of my junior year I sent my resume to every single place I could find that had so much as an HR email address online. I ended up getting interest from some random place I had never heard of (OGSI). Got the internship, worked 3 sessions, got hired after school, worked 2 years, got a ton of experience in a niche technology, and now I’m at Praxair making a decent paycheck despite my shitty undergrad GPA, and getting my MBA paid for. :headbang:
Get work experience. Somewhere. Anywhere. Do it for free if you have to.
