Work computers dont count as ‘your’ storage. Wanna see some of my work’s storage arrays?

At home, I’m kinda close, but mine is reduntant and fast as fuck

Excuse my screenshot… it is text (Windows NAS = ).

[logik@whoisyourdaddy jrock]$ df -H
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda2 7.9GB 1.6GB 6.0GB 21% /
/dev/hda1 104MB 9.9MB 89MB 11% /boot
none 131MB 0 131MB 0% /dev/shm
/dev/sda1 591GB 403GB 159GB 72% /data

That brings back bad memories of loading CADDS software on a DEC Vax workstation. I barely knew what I was doing.

350gb on my home pc

i bet you bought that on your work account

I’m copying this thread to our computer guy since I have to fight for more disk space all the time.

Bah… weak!

yeah… it is weak… but i got a sweet nas box with all hardware, fiber backbone, online mirror replication for about $138k… with support and on site configs… kinda neat (at least it’s not my $$$)

got my arrays config’d and my nas box has 4.7TB of space… pretty decent for a law firm with only about a million documents… :dunno:

i can’t touch you big ballers… :hs:

@ home i have over 1tb total… but as far as a home nas i’m only at ~350 gig

alas; computers are beat

do you want me to inventory the datacenter? i bet you i would win
