SR is cheaper. Easier. Simpler. Made for boost
KA is awesome! More expensive. More complicated. Simply put; it was not made for boost.
i like the rb20. mind you it’s the first boosted 240 i’ve ever been in, but yeah. i’m thinkin’ up a power plan for next year. thinkin’ somewhere along the lines of a gt28rs…

They were completely different. The KA was mad torquey but was lacking in the top end. The SR lacks torque but has a good top end. Keep in mind, I only had a T25 KA-T.
Also, heat soak seems less prominent on the SR and it feels much more willing to rev. Overall, I prefer the SR.
there is a gready turbo kit at p2m for the ka24de and its like 4000 but it says no more then 6psi recommended that’s shit? at least 7-8 psi without low com pistons and with 12-15psi is this not right?
i’d say only 6-7 psi on something that wasn’t rebuilt. but, every engine is different. i think they were just covering their own asses myself.
