you know, i keep wondering, do people REALLY need a vehicle as big as a Navigator? i mean its just too big maybe?
do you need a car as big as an A6?
word
dude?, a Navigator is nothing compared to a suburban, excursion, escalade esv…etc.
maybe a small 8=D :tong
Why should the size matter? Is this a matter of fuel?
the 6 isnt that big, and actually yea. I drive my grandparents to appointments and stuff like if my parents or my uncle cant.
the thing i keep wondering is about the suburbans, excursions and stuff is how big will they get in the next decade? like if u look at other cars theyre gettin bigger. look at the sentra from 94 and 07, look at camrys from the 90s, the new corolla(SUBcompact mind you) is bigger now. what’s happening to cars?
Yeah, cars are definitely getting bigger, looking over the generations of bmw’s its like the 7 series has turned into a cruise ship, the 5 series is now a 7 series, 3 series is now a 5 series, and the 1 series is like the new 3 series :idiots
you could do all of that in a MUCH smaller car
making cars is a business, so if people keep buying bigger then they will keep making bigger.
even honda’s have gotten bigger, for the civic…look at the lat 80’s early 90’s civic and look at the new civic sedan…even the new accords are like boats compared to the early 90’s ones :confused
you get these people with more money then they know what to do with, think that because they have two kids, they need a really big SUV to carry them around in, and they usually dont give a shit about gas anyways. BUt they do have a hybrid tahoe that supposedly gets 30 miles to the gallon.
You just answered your own question, most don’t feel their vehicle is bigger then they need. Of course there are those who feel that a vehicles size is directly related to their level of success, etc…
+1, look at a camry, that thing is the size of a caddy now, maybe not that big but they have def gotten bigger
even the new Camaro that’s supposed to come out…it looks like a BOAT!
yeah, its supposed to weigh over 4000lbs, thats gay
Bigger cars have been the sign of importance/wealth for many many decades.
Some people need them for towing their toys too. I think a good share of it goes as a status symbol too IMO.
Navigator is the same size as an Expedition I believe, right about the size of a Suburban.
I have an Expedition to tow with and that’s pretty much all it does.
I’d say the Excursion is more in the Suburban’s class along with the Escalade ESV…the Tahoe is more in the Expedition class
… btw Navigator = Expedition
Suburban 1500 is compared to the Expedition.
Suburban 2500 is compared to the Excursion.
