why do SR's stall when cold

i have an SR20DET and when its cold i fire it up and it stalls sometimes. in the morning i have to hold m y foot on the gas and get it a little warm or it stalls and runs like shit. after 5 minutes the car runs really nice. i can’t seem to figure it out. it never did this before. could it possibly be the iac valve or temp sensor. if anyone knows these sr problems please let me know becasue its anoying

Most likely a faulty water temp sensor.

Is fast Idle hooked up. Check power to the start signal fuse. That can cause it to.

clean your mafs and check for vacuum leaks

how do you hook up fast idle i never heard of it.

check the start signal fuse first. Drivers side kick planel is where it’s located. The ecu uses that for cold start.

man dont bandaid fix find the problem why its doing that if you dont want you engine to die fast

Who the hell is talking about bandaid fixing. You know whats fast Idle is?? You know when the engines cold it’s up the idle to about 1200-1500 and as temps goes up it comes down. It’s controlled by the ecm. Thats fast idle all motors have it.
