Why do you like McCain?

Lower taxes.

I get to keep my guns(if i had any)

An actual plan for the War

Experience, experience, experience.

People says hes a heartbeat away, dick cheney should have died 100 times over but didnt, mccain is in a lot better health.

I like that he doesn’t cater to special interests (at least, not nearly as much as some in DC)

He’s experienced politically and militarily (which is important, especially now imo)

He doesn’t vote along party lines (bi-partisan)

He isn’t feeding people false hopes and dreams in the name of “change” (tax plan, heath plan)

He’s not a socialist

Like Jay already said, he’s in for the long haul in Iraq. If we pull out, it could be VERY VERY bad for us, not to mention all of the lives lost and trillions dollars spent in vain

Granted, he’s not my first choice and there are a lot of things I don’t care for either, but it’s the lesser of the two evils

lol well, one could say that obama isn’t much safer

Obamas a redneck gunshot away…

for a 72 y/o.

I know of a VERY successful guy running an investment bank, he is 73y/o, works out every day and eats perfect. He is still losing his mind.

PS… I want to clear up my “health care is not a right” statement.

Everyone should be able to afford health care. We need to address the continuously escalating costs so it’s affordable.

You only need look in your own back yard, right here in NY, to see what happens when government tries to run health care. We try to close some hospitals because a non-partisan report showed they’re redundant and a waste of money and the union ads hit the airwaves about how you’re going to die because they’re closing your hospital. When government becomes the employer there is no longer a requirement to operate efficiently and when costs go up it’s easier to just pay them vs make politically unpopular cuts. Healthy NY, Medicaid, Medicare… any time the government has tried to get into the health care business costs have soared infinitely above their initial projections and once these programs are in place it’s impossible to cut them.

Thats THE scariest thing about obama getting in… if they don’t work (which I’ll gladly put money down that they don’t), we’re going to be stuck with them

He’s 72. People live way past 72 last time I checked.
Melanoma isn’t a terminal cancer or one that will cut a persons life span down. I had Hodgkins 8 years ago, so should that rule me out of any possible endeavors?

He has drivers, so he won’t have to worry abouy driving.

I don’t believe in giving handouts to people that are just too lazy to work for them. I work for all that I have and don’t take handouts.

Perfect response.

and if you look at Canada it takes forever to get treated for anything serious. I have few friends in Kitchner and they complain about that all the time, one of my friends had to wait 7 months for heart surgery and almost died twice.

As long as we want to keep coming back to McCain being 72, let me call out the giant elephant in the room.

What’s the average life span for a rich white man with a Cadillac US government health care plan?

I have no doubt that he could live to 100… you do start losing your mind though. Look at Castro, that bastard will never die lol.

yup… it’s scary.

like I said, I have a feeling that a LARGE majority of us will end up paying out of pocket for private insurance (IF we can afford it), on top of what we’re paying for “socialized” health care if it’s anything like any other social medical systems.

Thanks for helping the middle class

Ore Ida are too mushy and they are owned by Heinz.

:picard: John, not the fries. Jackass.

Hey your name is fry!:snky:

You would think I would vote for my own… :stuck_out_tongue:

because he’s white, and american.
I’m still not voting.

your an idiot

Everyone has their reasons…
