…worked 930 am-1030 pm without a lunch or even a smoke break.
tomorrow i get to work 730 am til prolly 1030 pm again…and again, prolly no lunch or smoke break.
by the end of the week i should have 60 hours in 4.5 days worked. i hate working that much but god the paychecks are priceless!
but the real kicker of it is…people are such assholes. this morning a lady came in and there were 4 of us working, and 3 people waiting. she waited 5 minutes and started screaming at my manager that he would either “A. you will wait on me right now, or B. you will lose a customer if this is the way you plan to run your business, I am not waiting here for 2 hours.” fucking bitch. i just wanted to punch her in her face.
I just hate the general public around Christmas. They’re all in the “Christmas Spirit” with their holiday sweatshirts on singing songs while they scream at you for taking something off of the shelf or accidentally getting in their way.
they are both equally bad. even new years eve last year was crazy. ill never forget it, i was really sick, with like some 24 hour bug, and it was busy as hell. i myself sold 17 new activations and we were only open 10-3. christmas eve sucks because after we close, we get people beating on the doors saying they need to get a phone so their kid has something to open for christmas. i feel bad but nothin like waiting til the last minute.
