why lock everything..

I’m not talking about locking thread wehre people don’t follow rules, I understand that, but why is it necessary to lock threads after the intial question was answered? People can have other alternative answers or other shit to add to the thread, I don’t see why the mods lock it. It will die anyways if poeple odn’t have stuff to add.

People could have maybe added some other stores that would have it or something so that if someone finds that thread through a search or something in the future they will benefit from the information

I dunno about that one, but usually i lock old FS threads, since alot of ppl would just resurrect the dead. If some threads have been resolved, then its locked before any more idle chatter.

Or i lock threads that have been discussed before.

I locked it.

The original poster found his product… a copper washer. It’s not like it was some super mega crazy jdm unobtanium or something.

The question was answered, the problem was solved. The issue was done… as was the thread.
