Just kidding mike! No, seriously, him driving had NOTHING to do with the piston melting. and hes one hell of a driver (a certain WRX driver can tell you that ) Anyways, here are some pics of the piston that melted on my way to the track while racing TheBlue!
previous owner had head replaced, didnt reconnect knock sensor. when I was using the SAFC to pull fuel, ECU and data logger didnt detect any knock. so basicly i pulled to much fuel out, went to lean and it melted. oh well, live and learn.
the other 3 pistons’s rings were allmost non exsistant and the blocks cyl walls were alllll messed up. my machinest only saved this one for me, or i would have posted pictures of those as well. trust me, the motor detonated/knocked itself to death.
