Definition of "fouled" plugs :)

Going to the Waterfront last night, car started missing and sputtering real bad. Made it down, made it home.

Took the plugs/wires off today, and check these out :bowrofl:

I was thinking about why it only did it on one head, and then I realized that when I was taking the stubby exhausts off to finish them, I noticed I forgot to plug in the driver’s side O2 sensor. That time of running the car without the sensor was probably dumping fuel into those cylinders, which also exaplains why I was smelling some fuel as well :mrT:

good thing it’s an easy fix

Yea. I’ll tell ya what though, the plug closest to the firewall on the passenger side is near impossible to get to. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to jack the car up and get it from the underside, and I didn’t have to, thankfully.

Gloves (no busted knuckles) FTW.

lol

hah, thats what the plugs look like after 5 min of running on my camaro

my plugs melt after 3 passes…

thats hardcore abuse

y do u have 8 sparkplugs for a 4 cylinder miata? Haha j/p. So when are you getting it tuned?
