Good read but still makes me wonder how any stock o2 sensor survives in the stock exhaust manifold.
I believe our stock narrowband O2 sensors are heated, and they don’t need to hold anywhere near the precision of a wideband. For closed-loop operation (eg. at idle or part throttle cruise), their definition of “rich” or “lean” is VERY broad.
