will these tires fit on a avalanche

my dad has a 2002 or 2003 chevy avalanche z71 right now he has 265/70/17 tires on the truck. i just found him some bfgoodrich all terain tires that are 315/70/17. if we were to throw these on would it effect the turning radius or anything, or will they even fit at all?? Thanks

i highly doubt they would fit at all

Check tirerack.com. They usually give you a range of acceptable sizes

no, but go to www.fullsizechevy.com for questions like this and look at the NBS forums

ok, yeah i looked it seems like the biggest size without rubbing is 295 my dad wanted to raise the truck a little anyways, does anyone know what is needed to make these tires work, my dad said he doesn’t mind losing some turning radius but i’m sure he wouldn’t mind cutting out some of the wheel well. thanks

extended wheel studs and spacers

they wont fit u cant even go 285 on that truck without a lift

does anyone know if these work coil spring stabalizer’s it says it raises it 2" would this and cutting the wheel well work

I am calling bullshit about the 285’s, I am rocking 285s on my FSC

we tryed to put 285s on my bosses avalance

ok, so i know they aren’t going to fit with a stock suspension, i was wondering what will be needed to make them fit, the truck has torsion bars in the front and leaf springs in the rear so i don’t really know what to do

It’s an easy lift, just look for the kits online.

Here are a few options…

or use ford keys on the torsion , and you can cheap out on the rear, by blocking it
