Does anyone here have dark tint on their car and have a doctors note to keep that tint so you do not get tickets …

Long story short with my drive home my one arm gets sun burn and the other does not …

Just really asking if you have tint on all windows and if you get pulled over how do you get out of that ticket . last time I looked into this you were still given the ticket but it would get dismissed once note was shown to judge.

I can get a note no problem I just want to know if it has worked for anyone … or if anything else to look into

Idk if i ever just see a cop lookin at my car for tints i just roll the windows down

I drive with windows up and AC on

Solution: carpool so you sit on the other side 1/2 way

I’d love to get a doctor’s note. I purchased my car from florida, so it was obviously tinted. I enjoy the tint, the black leather is kept relatively cool on hot days, and i never have to flip up my rear view mirror because some douche has his headlights aimed way too high.

I’m curious what’s involved with getting a doctor’s note. heh

The only note that is officially excused by the DMV is one for certain (3 i think) eye disorders that you suffer from.

That is not to say you can’t try at court with other problems (migraines, etc). But that is a chance that they may not go for.

My dad is a transplant patient and can not be in direct sunlight :wink:

so its threw the DMV… that would be somewhat harder to get

I have also thought about this road but would also be hard for me to get

If you get a script from a doctor it has to be placed under the tint when applied for the police to see. When I was tinting cars,I only had one person with an script and when done by the rules it ended up looking like shit. Picture a business card placed between glass and the tint film.
