Windows Vista problem

So today my computer is “stuck” in the configuring updates 3 of at 0% keeps rebooting and restarting and nothing else, this is a very common problem for these…ive tried the recommended process(Get to recovery mode and have the computer check everything and get it back running, but it doesnt work) any ideas? Im getting angry

I hate to say this, but it sounds like you might need your original disk for either a start-up repair, or a complete nuke 'n pave.

Turn it on, let it go through it’s reboots, let it do whatever it needs to do, if it takes longer than an hour or so… Try a start-up recovery/system restore with your original Windows Install Disc, the one that came with your computer or with Just your OS when you bought it.

Best Bet, if you have any other details, post em up and I’ll see what I can do.

Not sure if you’ll be able to get into Safe Mode, but you do that by pressing F8 (to bring up the menu) after the POST (Dell, HP, etc. screen) and before the Windows loading screen.

If you can’t, you might have to boot to CD and do a repair as DethWysh suggested, or bring it to either Myself, Shady, or 99FRC to have it looked at. Or one of the other IT folks on this site.
