You’ll be in my neck of the woods. Dr. Frank’s tastings are indeed free. We also recommend Heron Hill (plus the architecture is great) - if you head up to Seneca, stop at 3 Brother’s - it’s a “themed” winery / brewery, with pirates and World War Two themes. There’s 40 wineries on that lake alone, just head down 14 towards the Glen, come back up 414 on the other side.
So far I plan on going to Bully Hill, Dr Franks, then lunch at Lakeside Restaurant, then Heron Hill and possibly the brewery. Any particular order anyone recommends? I’d like to do lunch in between since that’s going to be quite a bit of wine.
Save yourself the trouble and take a limo or have a DD. Some offer quite a bit of samples and its nice not having to worry about the driving and having too much.
Definately Frank’s and Heron with Bully.
Heron Hill had by far my favorite wines of the trip.
IIRC, they have a “premium” tasting selection. It was definitely worth it, imo
I’ll write up where I went/experience when I get back, this should be a very fun trip.
