finger lakes region, just drive there and you can tour all of them
good wine up there
not as good as my own tho
www.niagarawinetrail.org make sure you stop at my families its freedom run!!
Hit this up this weekend. Get some friend and rent a camping space so no driving is needed and sample them all.
niagara on the lake up in canada is a beautiful area and theres wine tours everywhere. its max 45 minute drive from where im at
yeah, avoid the bus or van tours. You have to go with a group at the guides pace to wineries that they get a kickback from. Either take a limo or create your own list of wineries and drive right in. I will say Niagara on the lake is beautiful, but there are tons of wineries in NY, so why not start more local
there are always tours in the finger lakes region, and down by fredonia (i think thats the chautaqua (sp) region)

That might be something. Thanks
The niagara ones are alright. Hell, I live by 4 of the stops! MMM wine all the time for me, we get bored we act like we are serious wine tasters, and have a few nice glasses.
go around fredonia… we have some out there…cheap and good…around this time they usually have their wine festivals too
I’m going to do the niagara wine trails this weekend. But, i’m going with a friend and have no idea where she found out about it…
OMG! Imagine if we got a NYSpeed "wine tasting tour going? LMAO The Niagara one in Niagara county is all country roads. Its pretty nice. Im like right in the middle the 3-4 of them are all about the same distance from my house.
i could get us a tour my family owns a vineyard on the tour and i know everyone else on it…???hmmm. this sat. is a jazz and wine theme that kinda sux
3sny…I’ve been there 2 or 3 times…nice place (actually too nice for me…lol) but, nice setting. I usually just drink the Niagara.
I was over at the Warm Lake one (I think its real close to your family’s). I’ll be frequenting “Shultz’s” when they open. They’re another winery thats less than 15min away. I’ve been to “Honeymoon Trail” (which is like 5-10min. from Spina’s Engine Shop) :P, Viscara(sp) is pretty close, they got goos stuff.
After the first stop I usually dont remember much of the rest of the places. YES, we have a designated driver.
Ancient bump.
I’m going to Bully Hill Winery this Friday for dinner, anyone know what other wineries in that area offer open tastings? I’d like to go to more than just Bully Hill if possible.
We usually do this one every year. Can hit all of them in a Saturday and had 20 people in the limo. Going with a smaller group is a lot quicker.
I visited Spring Lake Winery (link) since it’s owned by my in-laws friends. It’s a gorgeous winery, great wine, fun time!
Bully hill was part of a tour I went on a few years ago, a few of the others that we went to were:

IIRC pleasant valley said you needed a reservation, but I think that was just because they didn’t like the looks of our group.
I texted him this, but Dr. Frank Konstantine’s tasting is the best in that area. Read: free.
Hunt Country is cheap too, and Keuka brewing company up on the hill off of 54A with Bully and Dr. Frank’s.
Or shoot all the way south to Hammondsport and explore. Lunch at the Lakeside where Keuka splits - great food on the water.
Great area, I’ll be there next week
