… Not really your guys style but its something my father wants to build and I cant say no to that. Picked it up from Tennessee last spring and drove it home. Will stay a stock motor this year more than likely/maybe a cam but I am trying to talk him into some boost, hopefully next winter :tspry: Definitely getting lowered and removing all of the old man stuff and some modern wheels…

It is totally rust/dent free, bought it from the original owners, garage kept. 186k on it I think? Has some paint chips and minor scuffs, and that tonneau cover rubbed some paint off the top of the bed.

some minor progress… I don’t have much time to work on my car, but since ls engines are incredibly easy to work on, a couple more hours and I’ll have the heads off. Work on the car is spur of the moment, so having all my good tools from work isn’t always possible.

Leave it as stock looking as possible and surprise people. First thing I thought when I saw that pic was “That’s not from around here originally.” I recently grabbed a work truck from NC and it is amazing how clean stuff from down there is-working on something and not needing to heat the fuck out of it to loosen it as always awesome
that truck is cool, there is some wacko on LS1tech running some fairly high boost through an LS in one, but it’s propane powered

i also plan to put a bit into the 310 wanna shoot for 79/80. Maybe smaller s/c pulley and tune might get me there. Might have to wedge my pump tho.
