Would like to sort out / complete some issues plaguing me for the last couple years.
is it going to wheelie with that low of a gear?!
 yeah buddy
do you drive your car down there or will be trailering it?
i can’t say enough good things about justin and his work. i wish i could send everything to him but i keep getting raped on shipping Lol. Im excited to get everything back together.
gotta get that stroker vs 2.0 race in !
This morning swapped from a 39mm precision 2 bolt wg to a 46mm precision v band wg. As you can see I used a quick 2 bolt to v band flange to see how it would react compared to the smaller gate. It flows like a mofo and I’m glad I upgraded. It works nice so far but only got a little pull in from 30-60 and it stayed at 11 psi using the 9 psi spring. The real test wl be a 0-120 pull. Also tossed some new rotors and pads on the front.
Honestly it will probably not wheelie if I had to guess on that gear/tire but anything is possible. As long as I can 60ft around 1.5 I can go from there.
You better believe I will be driving it.
Choda that is good news! I have a cheapie 60mm kicking around the shop you could try any time if you wanted.
late to this party eh? the ///M is getting velocity stacks for the itbs from Jay at Filthy Habits along with a lot of interior and exterior bits
pics or ban
60s are huge but man they sure are nice. I personally will only use precision bov and WG products. Good prices and amazing customer service. Did u have a 60 on the rx7?
I ran the same setup that I am using on this build. Twin Tial 38s. They package so nice!
I grabbed a few of the ebay gates to have a look for myself. They dont look horrible but I still ended up with new Tials for my build.
My more detailed plans for my car: '85 Buick T-type (hot air - non-intercooled turbo V6)
close on house, install unit heater in garage.
Do some maintenance: plugs, wires, timing chain, install test pipe, walbro 340, oil change, dyno it stock to see where its at.
Buy bumper fillers, GN rear spoiler, repaint it black.
If money allows it, E-85, 80lb injectors/chip combo, blow up tranny, rebuild tranny, 3k stall.
I ended up buying another one of these:
Only difference is I went with a 3.0 gear instead of 3.25.
Car is mostly apart for cleaning and getting rid of the stuff I don’t want in there. Already sold a bunch of stuff, still waiting to move some other items, but the “build” for this winter is the Moser M9, rear suspension, drag wheels/tires, rear brakes, and a beefy Competition Trans TH400. Luckily all the stuff I’m able to sell is offsetting these purchases. I know it’s the “same old” thing I did before, but I have fun with it. The “go-fast” stuff will likely happen next winter. Look for that build to be a bit more SIQQQ. Looking for a nice balance of a clean/nice cruiser that is a sleeper at the track. Maybe I’ll start a thread, but what’s happening this winter might seem like deja vu.
Looks great. Nothing wrong with a similar build especially when you get to learn from what you would like different. I would love to build another rx7 someday.
I am hoping for some 2000cc injectors, E85 and retune. Then rear end destruction once again.
Drew, you will put it on the bumper with those gears… Mine are 3.08’s with a 28" tall tire. 1.24 60’ FTW.
I’m slowly changing my mind about getting rid of the car… I should do a cam swap and turn it up another 10psi… meh.
Thinking about selling my E39 M5 and consolidating to one car. Maybe a 335d or CT200h. Not sure.
I sure hope so! Order the cam. We can jam it in and you can go 7s like a boss.
Do it. Then help me with my wheeler. Lol

7’s!? … Nah, I’ll just wait for all the other turbo cars to catch up to me then I will turn it up.
We can turbo the wheeler?
Yes, yes we can. Or alot of nitrous
