wiring a light for a doorbell.

I am looking into wiring some flashing/strobe lights in our shop so I can tell when someone is at the door. What I want is for the light to stay on for about a minute after the doorbell button is pressed. Any suggestions?

look online for some disability doorbells, they do exactly this for deaf people

I’ve seen those but I need to be able to expand on those like add lights and other bells.

splice the wires breh

It’s not that easy. I want the lights to stay on for about a minute.

A control panel with a timing relay in it. That is all you need. It is pretty simple to wire up and run off of 120V or any voltage that you have close by.

Get a Timing relay and wire the bell as the trigger and have it last for ~10 seconds. Bamo done.

Google search Doorbell Signaler.

You might also want to wire in a reset.

It would really suck listening to a bell for 1 minute when you were able to answer the the door after 5 seconds.

Edit: or use a latching relay, that way it goes off until you reset it.
