lalala so i’m busying getting ready to drop the engine out of my mr2. mechanically everything is going great…
im at the point where i need to unplug the ecu ( located in the trunk )
so i remove the trunk lining to expose the ecu + harness… but instead of three seperate identities, its a mash of wires ductaped together. this is what it should look like, right before you pull the harness through holes in the the rear firewall:
ill have pictures up in a bit, but for the time being, imagine that it looks impossible to remove anything without cutting wires because everything is connected
id LOVE to just hack the shit up and worry about it in 6 weeks when my new engine arrives, but is that a rediculous idea? i’d only have to cut approx 8 wires.
patience is a virtue… Or at least that’s what I hear. Way to wait ten minuets, you couldn’t just take you time to remove all the tape? But hell still post some pics, I want to see how bad it was.
