what do you need?
yeah a little detail there Jam would help
do you have MS1 or MSII?
is it a prebuilt harness, or is it mated up to your stock harness?
whats the problem?
fuzzy?
what do you need help with?
NEED INPUT, NO DISSASEMBLE
Probably a complete rewire from the harness he had built.
Just set this pile on fire and put it in the car wash dumpster but keep the hood and hang it up in the kitchen to write on
is that answering a question or making a suggestion Jay?
Most MS guys will build their own harnesses from ECU to sensor pigtails… I don’t see Jam doing that (i hope).
It’s answering the question. He sent out and had his harness built.
Do you happen to know who built the harness?
I assume it was up to jam to solder the harness to his pigtails?
it came from some e30 dude wired to the pins on the back of the ECU connector.
they’re all bare, and amidst screwing with trying to get the car to start a few pins kept coming off and had to be resoldered(not very sturdy pins on teh backside) I presume this is 3/4ths the problem, not to mention half the shit not working.
Oh yeah… and its jams. Just sayin. <3
that’s kinda what I was expecting.
:tif:
ehh …
why was there a new one built?? i dont know anythign about the bmw i thought it was the honda… but im still good at wiring… why not just repin … juat pick up a stock harness from the yard and use the pins and such
lol. <3
If haenszel can’t get MS to work…it can’t be done. leghump
It really sounds (based on his abandoned car thread) like its shitty wiring.
MS is easy to sort out so long as its installed properly.
this car is a cluster. fwiw
It’s (was) running on MS now?
If you can get pin-outs, and some basic factory wiring diagrams that pertain to the engine, that is in the car I could possibly sort some of it out after a good day or two with it. Most of that hacked shit needs to get cut out of the car and replaced in a more proper manner.
Who did the original wire job?
