Still have room, if you are interested please pre-register. No advance money is required, but it will give us an idea of head count.

Please inflate your tires to ~45 psi, there is a gas station on teh corner of Young and Main, we will try to bring air tanks, but it won’t be enough to inflate everyone, and we want to keep you driving as much as possible and would hate to see you miss runs if you leave to get air.

Make sure you battery is secure with a factory tie down or better, this is the most common tech failure. There is a NAPA just down the road, but again, we would rather keep you in the car doing runs than going to the parts store.

Clean out your cars, loose garbage, floor mats, loose tools, spare tire may stay if properly secured.

Here is some more FAQ stuffs:

Still have room, so if you didn’t pre-register, come on out before 9:30 and we will get you in.

Even if you don’t consider yourself a novice, use as a test and tune, because you will get a crap load of runs.

if i wasn’t bringing my 3 year old out i would do this… any chance i can run the course with thim in a kid seat?

Since this is a newbie day, will I still fail tech with codes?

sorry, we can on have children as young as like 10 or 12 years old, and that is a gray area.

engine codes do not fail tech. just really bad ball joints, no battery tie down, and sticking throttle cables…

As a former safety steward with scca I’m going to say no chance. It would be a huge liability and the rules say passengers are limited to people who are able to participate. I can’t remember what age scca carts start but I know it’s not 3.

What do you mean codes? Like check engine light? Scca tech doesn’t care about that as long as your car is safe and not obnoxiously loud. They look for loose suspension bits, loose battery, loose wheels, a functioning throttle return spring and that all unsecured stuff is removed.
