Words of advice from an elder

Hope everything is OK man.

Scary…i’ve had an enlarged/swollen lymph node in my neck for 13 months now. My primary doctor felt it and said its no big deal. Although i have multiple symptoms of Lymphoma cancer, he refused to do a needle biopsy to test it…going to a ENT Dr this week to hopefully get a biopsy done.

Damn Dr’s are quacks, 80% of them cheat their way through school, and I read a study that said over 60% use Wikipedia to diagnose patients…

good luck! God Bless.

Good luck man, hopefully you caught it early on and youll be all set !

i had back pain for years and just kept putting it off until my legs started giving out all my doctors said it was nothing but i knew something was wrong switched doctors who finally gave me an mri and found that i had a tumor inside my spinal cord. had it removed but still have problems with my left leg. yeah when it comes to your health you really shouldn’t fuck around good luck man

Thanks for the wise comments, I hope everything is well. Good Luck!

Good luck Paul

The last time i went…it was to a pediatrician…i really should, so much shit we’re exposed to on a daily basis, when i think about it i really get paranoid to the point where i want to demand a full body scan for every possible problem…but, the vast majority of the time i just don’t even think about these things or justify making the time. Stupid of me…

Dude you need to get this checked thats aslmost identical to my sympthoms
Thanks for all the well wishes/kind thoughts. This wont end me, i aint done yet

Get it checked out. I was afraid to get mine checked out, but I did, they diagnosed me, treated me, and I’m alive today. Your health is nothing to screw around with.

And if your doctor doesn’t listen to your best interests, then time to get a new doctor.

I had a lymph node removed from my neck when I was diagnosed.

Get the test done, tell me some good news, and I’ll bring you to Grovers for a beer and a burger

Good luck, that stinks I have scheduled a few people under 40 even some in there twenties for possible mini strokes… Scary stuff at such a young age.

Good idea to go to the doctor. I am more aware of things like this after a lady I work with in her 50’s who eats great, works out regularly and is very active started feeling weird one night and went to the doctor and turned out she had a brain animism (sp?) and if she didnt go she may not have made.

Hope for the best man.

Good Luck Paul. Feel Better.

good luck bro. :grouphug:

Good luck, hope everything works out OK.

no more welding with brake cleaner!

get better man.

Ok so its for sure a tumor. Yeah me. Nothing like getting this news in mid life. certainly not expected. Prognosis is good, Dr.(& I) is very positive that this will just be a speed bump in my life. next thurs open it up and see what it is since all the scans i’ve had done are inconclusive.

good luck man

I have a dr’s appt on tuesday. My first checkup in 3-4 years probably. I am nervous.

Be strong Pauly
Like I said, do everything you could to keep yourself busy and don’t think about it at all. You have a good support system with your friends and family too.

When you are good enough to go back out, we’ll go to Grovers. Got to have a good goal in mind for afterwards, right?

Good luck to ya sir!
