the day i went i was with the one lap people, so I think i remember seeing that SVT…
that day at the track my last 20 on a starion was in my class and me and him played the whole time. he totally out horsepowered me on the straights but he would never pull to far away from me because i was right on him in every bend. in fact i actually passed him because i could carry so much more speed then him right before a straight away. he was sooo pissed. don’t know to much about those cars but i know they have more then 110hp like my lil girly jetta

A guy on one of the contour forums goes to all the SVTOA meets.
He has a modded SVT contour but its still N/A and he runs all over GT’s at the track…and has video of 03 cobra’s blasting him on the straight and then him reeling them in by turn 3-4
he says the look on their face when they have to get over to let him pass is priceless.

just to give you an idea of speed…on the speedo straight up (12o’clock) is 85mph
he raced in group 3 & 4
group 3 is experienced driving skill…he said mostly stock or slightly modded cars.
both videos are from group 4. advanced driving skill and most of the cars were sick…he said that the 2 cobras that pass him on the straight are race preped… gutted interior caged etc…
you can hear how bad ass they sound when they pass…but he did do to bad of a job keeping up through the Turns.

Well Mr Strange, please bestow your unsurpassed knowledge of auto-x on us. Seriously, if you were gonna build a car, what would you choose? No, i dont have a lot of auto-x experience, but ive been out to North Park enough to see what works and what doesnt. There was a guy out there every time that i went in a civic hatch that consistently ran as good or better than the guy with the supra that has the national championships. Did i say that we should all dump our cars and go out and buy a honda? No. What i meant was that if i was gonna try and build a low buck, competitive auto-x car, it would be a civic hatch. Why dont you actually read what i say before you come on here running your mouth and trying to be a hardass. And the “why dont you pay people back” thing is officially played out. If i dont owe you money, then mind your own business and shut your geriatric mouth.
