WOW just WOW

and your warranty policy would be sky high and your rep would prob audit you

:+1thats why he aint there any more :banana

john for once shut your fuckin mouth. your really good at busting balls but you dont know dick about what i could or couldnt get warrantied… and as i said previously… if it dont go under manufacturer warranty, itd be under goodwill. a 40k$ car with a spent clutch after 3k is fucking rediculous. im glad you all seem to think you know what you’re talking about but the only ones that would are the ones that have actually MANAGED a repair facility… not just been a mechanic or corporate puppet. i LEFT the auto industry because i could make more money elsewhere. read that again… i QUIT working for dealerships. so glad you all know my life better than i do.

anyways… not my car… not my problem… but if i was the writer/manager… itd be free to the owner. and FUCK YOU ALL that doubt me. bunch of fucking cockbag 18 year old know it alls on here anyways.

Im pretty sure when I bought my SS and under all the warrenty papers it said Clutches are not covered.

:idiots

dude, clutches are WEAR items. and 3,000 is driver error man, what you can do when you were at the dealer and what dave can do, different things, plus the mitsubishi regional rep for the warranty department is a douche bag. getting warranty work on a evo is tough. its not worth losing your job over some idiots clutch. if it spun a rod bearing, different story, but not for a clutch.

if the clutch failed as a result of a failed release bearing, or clutch fork… thats grounds for warranty work, but from driver error, no way

OMFG SHUT UP ABOUT THE CLUTCHS GOD DAMN. THEY ARE A WEAR ITEM. NOT COVERED GET OVER IT!!!

yeah mines not covered on my si.

I think my warranty is up in my quad too!

O shit, wait…Its custom built :headbang

warranties suck, thats why I bought some parts for a 240 and I’m savin my money, but thats a while off, now its just buying parts here and there and hoping I come across a coke dealers duffel bag full of money :lol idk a warranty is sweet for a daily.

they wouldnt fix the clear coat on my wing after only 5,000 miles on the car, they wouldnt fix the clear coat on my brakes after 5,000 miles on the car. reasons 1, he accused me of using an abrasive material on my wing, then told me that the paint/clear coat was only covered if it was rusted through. then he told me that the brakes had been bleed and that the brake fluid was the cause of the clear coat on the brakes comming off. so i told him off and let that be that. nothing u can do, but it felt good to make him look like he was going to shit himself.

this is on an evo correct?

Ive gotten that stuff covered before, come up and see me and ill see what I can do

its an 03, so no waranty, but if u still want to fix it im game!

Agreed, 100%. To get that clutch to burn in 3000 miles would probably take all 3000 miles of clutch slipping. Unless the clutch was fucked from the factory, or the pre-load was way too high I don’t see how this would happen. If the clutch pads were violently broken off of the clutch disc, I would say its due to the drivers abuse. Otherwise, that clutch sucks dick. I have had clutches that took the abuse of women trying to learn, even after 200k miles and aftermarket power adders they just held up fine.

Fuck a clutch that can’t take 3000 miles of abuse, regardless of break-in procedures. These are 2 freshly machined/trued parts.

travis, you are an idiot. If clutches get covered then so should pads and tires, right? :idiots

big red, tell your boss or whoever to fix that nasty dip on the entrance to the dealership. The CF lip does not like it at all.

my clutch, brake pads, blah blah are covered under warranty :nod only thing not covered is tires. BMW warranty FTW lol til they pull the BS on you which is everytime so actually BMW warranty FTL haha

Maintenance plan, not warranty. I’m headed to Keeler in about a month for $1200+ in free brakes. ;D

BMW warranties suck, especially CPO.

Maybe you missed the part about $1200 in free, dusty as sweet hell brakes?

Edit: Ah I see the pwn now. It just takes me longer than the rest of the class.

Right but they’re not really ‘free’ seeing as the fact that it’s still under a maintenance plan is considered in the purchasing price of the car ;D
