Wrong harness, ECU or engine?

Well, I went to line up my ecu to my wiring harness but they dont even come close to plugging into eachother. now the harness has extra plugs allover, I know one is for AC, and another few are for the starter/aternator. but none line up with the tranny  the plugs for the ECU are the same as on my stock KA engine. do you think its the wrong harness? engine? or just the wrong ECU?

thanks,

ok what engine, what type of car, Numebrs on the ECU, Maybe a picture would help

OBD1 Vs. OBD2 FTL ?

Nissan’s OBDII is besicly the same as OBDI. Not like those stupid honda’s.

Its actually not that different on a honda, but a honda OBD1 ECU will not plug into a OBD2 harness. The connectors don’t match.

Its an sr20. I sent the ECU back, hoping thats it. So I dont have a picture. OBD1 and OBD2 would cause this problem…I’m positive thats whats causing it. Just not sure if its the harness thats wrong, or the ECU

You can’t take my word for it I am still a noob when it comes to your cars. If only I knew where to look for information about the differances in Nissans… I could show you the difference in a honda in seconds.
