Hey Bing, I have rear springs on my front coils …
What gives?
Also, I called touge, they said its highly unlikely that the mixup was stance themselves. Just curious to see if you swapped out springs on me.

Ya mats brought his over and we checked… fronts are like 20mm too long.
Also, its good to mention that the two front coilover boxes had been opened, but not the rears. Could have been customs, but who knows. Just trying to get little details in.
The angle throws the pic off, but you can see its 1 coil too long.

maybe its too long… maybe one spring is on a coilover? so it has preload?

Spring that was in there, on the left, compared to a 8k front.
Spring compared to a 6k rear… looks like I had a 7k rear too, hard to notice in the pic but the coil I had was actually slightly thicker.

Excited to take appart the rears and see what happened there.
I opened the boxes because they came in with other sets of coilovers and i had to confirm which was which because they were all different.
I would never swap the springs around, i dont have the time for it.
Hmm thats weird, backs also had 7k springs …
WTF 7k rear springs all around, needless to say, I’m not very happy.
I’m lucky that for the time being, I can borrow my friend’s 8/6 because he’s using his 9/7’s, but I’d like to work something out because ultimately, I owe him something now.
I don’t mind shipping the 7/7 springs back…

its probably pretty obvious that bing wouldnt randomly switch the springs around… i dont even see how he could benefit from that - it’s probably an issue from stance themselves
I don’t care if he does / doesn’t benefit, point is it’s wrong. ( I’m not accusing, but at the same time I’m still considering it as a possibility)
I talked to touge factory, and the guy said it was highly unlikely that it happend at stance, but I’ll talk to him again to see what’s up.
If you need some assistance i can try and help, but ultimately it is a Stance thing.
I certainly have no interest in swapping springs around.
i dont really understand what touge factory has to do with anything… but this is none of my business i’ll stay out of it now
